SealRoom is developed by Wixfi, inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our document management application.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign in, we receive your email address and name to identify your account.
Documents: Documents you scan or import are stored locally on your device. Metadata may sync if you enable cloud features.
Server Processing: To classify and extract text from documents, files are temporarily processed on our secure servers. Documents are not retained after processing.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage metrics to improve the app. No document contents are included.
How Processing Works
When you add a document, it may be sent to our secure servers for classification. The document is temporarily processed, then automatically deleted. Your documents are never stored permanently on our servers or used for training.
Security Protocol
- AES-256 encryption for all stored documents
- Biometric protection (Face ID / Touch ID)
- Local-first architecture — data stays on your device
- Encrypted cloud storage
- Temporary processing — files deleted after classification
Data Retention
Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Cloud Data: Synced data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your data at any time from Settings.
Processing: Documents sent for classification are automatically deleted after processing.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data via the app's export feature
- Delete your data at any time from Settings
- Request account deletion by contacting us
- Opt out of analytics in app settings
